Medical services were called to meet a plane landing at London Heathrow airport after several passengers fainted during flight. Around six people fainted during a flight from Newark, USA, and ambulances were asked to meet the flight when it landed and went on the stand at Terminal Five. It was not known what caused the problem so emergency services wore protective suits. Six people were taken ill during the flight out of 216 souls on board. The passengers were assessed and allowed to continue their journeys.
