There are several ways to include a picture in your post.1. You can include a picture which is published elsewhere on the Internet by clicking on the icon that looks like a tree and entering the URL (address) of the image (this is the only way you can do it if you use the "Quick Reply" option) .
2.If you want to upload an image you can also click on the icon on the right of the tree (the "Content Selector") and then on "AirSpace files" and then on "Upload"
3. If you want to include a photograph from your own AirSpace gallery (or someone else's) click (the "Content Selector"), then on the "Photos" tab and then find the photo you want to include
This is driving me mad.
Quote from help with posting a picture:
2. The quickest way to upload an image and include it in your post is to click on the "Options" tab in the edit window and click on "Add/Update" under "File Attachment
Is the edit window the one where you compose your posting, because if it is the options button only gives a set of smiley faces to choose from......
Can do it with pictures already posted to gallery, but cannot simply import a picture from file elsewhere and drop them in posting.

That's the right edit window, Gawex. So yours doesn't look like this?
If not, there's something weird going on! let me know.
No-one in this office can see that add/upload button!
All we get are the smiley faces, and no other options....

One or two members here with Moderator rights are now admitting that they can find that button!! (but not all) Others who are ordinary members cannot find it, so looks as if it is quite random, it seems that most, but not all members cannot use the magic button in options to add pictures. Sorry if this makes it worse.
I cant see the button under Options either.
Hi everyone,
I have changed the advice at top of this thread to advise you all to use the content selector icon
to upload pictures from your own gallery. The option button doesn't seem to exist for every user and i will look into why this is, but in the meantime please use the content selector.
Thanks

Is there an easy way to load photographs to my personal gallery?
I like to think I'm pretty smart, after all I can walk and chew gum at the same time, but I cant find anywhere that says "upload photos"
Geoff
Hi Geoff,
This is an area we hope to rectify soon as it is not the easiest way to find how to upload photos. You have to go to your own personal gallery and in the bottom right corner there is a common tasks box. Here it should say 'upload my photos' and from there you should be able to upload to your gallery.
I hope this helps
Maverick
Thanks Maverick!
No sooner had I posted the request I found the upload pictures section, and, as you may have seen, loaded four pictures!
Hi John,
Sorry about the frustration this has caused you. Looking behind the scenes there doesn't seem to be much obviously worng. Can you first double cliick on the following link and see if the common task box is there for you now (it should be in the bottom right corner):

If it is not, can you email me directly and i will sort it out with you.
Hi Geg,
I am sorry that you are experiencing problems, it'svery odd that you saw them saved and now they are lost. Can i recommend you add another and make sure you save it and then we can have a look at any issue closer. BTW, are you Len 757 or GEG??

Hi northolt,
Glad you have found out how to do it, unfortunately big images such as the one above do get cut off, it is something we are looking into fixing. It's a nice pic,who were Earlsmead South Harrow playing, i don't think i have heard of them before??
Earlsmead in a small football ground in South Harrow in Middlesex. It is the home of Harrow Borough Football Club who play in the Ryman League Premier Division. The League is big enough to have it's results and League Table on Sky Sports News. The opposition on the day the photo was taken was either Carshalton Athletic or Hendon.
