Hi All,

First post for me as a new member, whilst I can see photo's others have put onto the photo page, I cannot find anywhere on the web site to do this, So how do you do it ?

While I am new to this new site and forum, my first impresions are that it looks good, but find maybe should be more user friendly, some link buttons are not very responsive and also pages take a while to load.

But mainly I want to know how to add some of my photo's.

 Thanks

Cheers and thanks Mike Day

Welcome Mike, Hopefully this will solve your photo problems. If you go to the photo section at top of main menu. At the bottom of the page you'll see all galleries. Open this up and your gallery is situated on page 12. Go into your gallery and at the bottom right there should be a common tasks box. Click on 'add picture'. On the 'publish new photo' screen that opens click 'upload', to the right of the top line. In the box that opens up, select 'browse' and select which photo you want to add and click 'upload'. There is also a line there for subject heading, this is any text that you want to appear when your cursor hovers the thumbnail. This takes around a minute, depending on speed of your computer system. Back in the publish new photo screen you can also add keyword tags and a narrative description of the photo if you want. Then all you need to do is click 'save' bottom right and this hopefully will add the picture to your gallery. Cheers, Dragon Lady
