Iconic--means a few from an era

The military aircraft list should have aircraft that are iconic for a war--seems overdone for WW 2 types without recognizing other eras. Also, no helicopters--not even one?

Suggestions: UH-1 Huey is symbolic of entire Vietnam war--also defined a whole new concept of warfare--air mobility.

Would also think Mig and F-86 from Korean war defined first use of jet fighters in any numbers.

I'd tend to agree with you, particularly regarding the UH-1 but I don't recall anyone (Including myself) ever actually nominating it which I guess unfortunately precludes it from the short-list.
