Ok so we have had the big question of what aircraft you would have in yourfleet but if you had one aircraft, and one aircraft only that you could fly before you die, what would it be... Our man in the know, Stefan the Pilot fancies getting on the biggest of them all by flying the Antonov An-225, while i would get in a p-51 Mustang

Without hesitation, deliberation, consideration, evaluation or prevarication; it would have to be the Vought F4U Corsair. Superior to the P-51 Mustang in most respects and with, arguably, the greatest recip. aero-engine of all time...the P & W R-2800 twin-row radial. Our Royal New Zealand Air Force operated over 400 of them so I should like to experienbce what so many of my older chums did when they were just lads.

Failing a Corsair, it would have to be the truly wonderful Douglas DC-3/C-47; of course!!!!!

Just one!? OK. Then it has to be the Hawker Sea Fury. I know there are few airworthy examples and I still have a few years left (wink!)Wink

There are old pilots and there are bold pilots, but there are very few old bold pilots.

I was Born and raised in Sarasota/Bradenton Florida for 29 years, I graduated from ITT-Tech in Tampa Florida in 2008, then hired on to work for Boeing Commercial Planes in Everett WA, as a Technical Designer. I love every thing to do with aviation.
