Tommorow surviving RAF Wellington heroes will be reunited with the world’s last remaining Vickers Wellington Bomber plane at Brooklands Museum in Weybridge, Surrey, tomorrow (Wednesday 19). This is to celebrate the Imeche award (Institution of Mechanical Engineers award) which is given for the reconstruction efforts after it was found in Loch Ness (near the monster Wink) in 1985.

What a beautiful machine:

So the Loch Ness Wellie is the worlds sole survivor of the type?

Im sure the staff at the RAF Museum Hendon may wonder whats happened to their example.

I think you meant one of two complete survivors.
