Skyhaul is still going strong in South Africa, working out of Cape Town with a fleet of two CV580s (ZS-SKG, ZS-SKL). The company initially had plans to set up a subsidiary in the DRC and flew three Convair 580s to Kinshasa (ZS-SKH, ZS-SKI and ZS-SKK) to begin services. However, they didn't get off to a particularly auspicious start: 'H crashed on approach to Amisi on 27 Apr 06 and the other two aircraft were grounded because (allegedly) Skyhaul hadn't paid, ahem, the appropriate level of start-up fees. Both 'I and 'K are still at Kinshasa-Ndjili; indeed, I saw them there last week.

No information on 'I; but I have a note that 'K left Cape Town on 23Dec05 en route to DRC.
Roy,
Thanks for all that info. I am currently writing a short history on PH-CGK/ZS-SKK and find your last update very useful.
I noted both SKI and SKK pictured at Kinshasa as recent as May 2009, both seemingly intact.
