Dear Administrator,
My late mother's father, William Charles Cadman, was believed to have served at Dardanelles, Turkey, in World War One. He worked with Short Brothers (now Short Brothers and Harland Ltd.) possibly in the district once known as 'Fort Dunstall Park, Willow hanger, navigable balloon depot. It is believed that this area is nowadays occupied by Wolverhampton Race Course. Any information about William (the balloonist) would be very welcome. On my mother's birth certificate, her father's occupation is noted as "Journeyman Balloonist" .
Looking forward to hearing from anyone who has access to such information. I can be reached by e-mail: lonestar_diecast@yahoo.co.uk and that is my prefered medium of communication. Thanking you.
