Is it the end of the line for the A340, With the last A340-600s to Iberia (x2) And A340-500s (x2)  to Kingfisher soon, Will this be the end of the A340 production line.

Analysis shows  Net orders 378, Delivered 371 with 7 on backlog

3 of the backlog are undisclosed customers, these maybe going to VIP customers

Sadly I think it is the end of the line which is a crying shame because its one of the best looking aircraft operating today. With oil prices so high and the A350XWB on the horizon its more or less consigned A340 production to the history books. Its a shame more weren't sold too. The A340-500 is my favourite aeroplane ever. She should hopefully still be around for a little while yet even after the production line closes.
