Indian airline Jet Airways received its first Boeing 737-800 with Sky Interior on 20 September.
This is the first of 11 new next generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft that are fitted with Sky Interior to be added to the airline's fleet.
The remainig aircraft are expected to be delivered between October this year and March 2013, the airline said in a statement.
Two of the 11 new aircraft will have a seating configuration comprising 16 Premiere seats and 138 Economy Class seats.
The remaining nine aircraft will have a seating configuration comprising 8 Premiere seats and 162 Economy Class seats.
The features of the new Sky Interior-fitted aircraft include sculpted sidewalls, larger windows, LED lighting, pivot bins for greater overhead storage capacity, improved passenger service units and a significantly quieter cabin.
