Kenya Airways Ltd. (KNAL), sub-Saharan Africa’s third-biggest airline, will buy nine new Boeing Corp. 787 aircraft, Managing Director Titus Naikuni said.
The agreement includes an option to buy an additional four planes, he told reporters in Nairobi today.
Kenya Airways said in June that the company may take delivery of new Boeing Co. (BA) 787 aircraft in May 2013. The delivery, originally scheduled for October 2010, was delayed.
