On Monday evening, at Tokyo airport a Korean Airline plane had a close survival after a tricky landing.

At 12.30pm on Monday evening a plane arriving from Incheon in South Korea, to Tokyo airport hit the runway with its rear during landing at Narita International Airport.

The plane, which was carrying 380 passengers was a Korean Airlines Boeing 777. The wind touched down in winds up to 60km/h, with its tail scraping along the ground.

Luckily, no one was injured the Fire Department said. Lots of parties are said to be investigating the cause of the incident including The Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Ministry.

The airport was forced to close up for an hour.
