Libyan Mirage F1's land at Malta Int'l Airport

Two Libyan Air Force Mirage F1's and two Heli-Union AS332's arrived at Malta International Airport this afternoon. See report here.

Interesting to see that both aircraft appear to be armed with unguided rocket pods; bet the Maltese were delighted to see those touching down - imagine the paperwork!

Here's our take on the arrival of the Mirage F1s - not sure it was a good idea for everyone to be milling around in front of the live rocket pods in the image used! Story includes a link to The Times of Malta's video of the pair on the ground shortly after landing yesterday:
