Before the “BA First” lie-flat seat, it must have been impossible to sleep on long-haul flights? I reckon the Virgin UCS took it to a new level though. The Virgin UCS makes use of that little triangle of space behind the seat when it turns into a bed and that makes all the difference. Did anyone do that before Virgin?
