The above began flying in 1916 but is supposed to have had "several accidents" one of which was serious enough to require the use of morphine.
I have searched Flight archive for any reference without success. This serious accident can only have taken place between March 1916 and Sugust 1916 when he obtained his pilot's license.
Can any one help me with any reference to any air accident involving him?
Many thanks
Hello,
I'm currently researching the life of L.C.G.M. Le Champion who lived in my village (Clifton Upon Dunsmore) until his death in 1938. This for a proposed book. I have quite a lot of information on his flying exploits if you would like to contact me. pete.austin.77@btinternet.com
