Hi All,
A quick visit at 11.00 revealed a lot of visiting aircraft that were diverts due to snow elsewhere.
Highlights were diverts G-EZBO/ZBD of Easyjet
HA-LPI/LPC and LZ-WZB of Wizz
plus about 12 Ryanairs from Stansted, including EI-DPK/DAM/DWG/DLM/DAT/CST/DAY and 4 more on the short runway, hidden in a blizzard.
Regular/normal visitors included BBJ N888TY-departed from 33, quite invisible in the snow...
also Turkish TC-JPS A320 and new Ryanair EI-EBA.
After just 5 movements, the runway closed again at 11.20, but by 14.00 the airfield was fully open and all these diversions were gradually departing.
