Thought i'd make a trip to Poland to get the remaining a/c in the LOT fleet i required. Booked Easyjet LTN-WAW rtn.

Warsaw 17/06/09;

Reasonable viewing area here, from arrivalsturn right,level walk past terminal 2 and the entrance is on the right.
Baggage gets scanned at the entrance and sometimes there can be quite a queue. Entrance cost PLN 4 (about 80p)
We went down for coffee's a few times and weren't charged on our return (you get a ticket on entry). There are toilets
but only a few plastic seats and these are near the entrance. Reasonable view for pictures too with a 200-300 mm lens
though building work seems to be going on below the viewing area which may restrict the view eventually.
Wednesday seemed to be a good day, all 6 LOT B767's were there (somedays they operatate from Krakow or Rzeszów)
so you may not get them all in one day, all E170/175's were seen, ended up not seeing 2 ATR42's (which i didn't need
thankfully) and quite a few charter flights, especially to/from Turkey which kept it interesting along with a few military
movements which is always welcome (TU154/MIL-8 etc)

Stayed at the Hotel Gromada, about 15 mins walk away and £60 for a twin inc brekkie, pretty reasonable hotel,
nice dinner for about £12 inc beers

Warsaw 18/06;

Decided to change my flight back and come back this morning, didn't fancy getting home at 1 am, Easyjet allow
you to do this free of charge provding there are seats avavilable and it won't delay the a/c. Logged before leaving;
