    Low cost airline and entraprenur

     Hello everyone,

I wonder if anyone can help, I am an entraprenur, I am in the concept stages of my plan to start up a low cost airline, which i target to get running just at the end of the current high fuel price, and economic slowdown period. I am in great need for someone who has worked in the commercial aviation sector and has some experience. I would employ this person, and this individual, will be able to offer me some guidinace through the starup stages, and also bcome the company's Managing Director when we are up and running.

    Hay

Me and a fried were having an argument regarding the cost of opperating charter flights. What do you think the cost per seat is (excluding taxes) for opperating from London to Las palmas.

    Thanks

    Regards

I appreciate your idea.. to start a low cost airlines! Business seminars are probably one of the best methods of finding out useful information from the people that have actually done what you have been trying to do, or hope to be doing.Good luck..!

I agree with you Ryan. Business seminars will help a lot in exploring new ideas. Ten brains can get more ideas than two brains....

Re: Low cost airline and entraprenur

    Hello Joseph,

I have been working in the well regarded airlines for a quarter of a century. I have been in finance organization looking after planning activities. The idea of establishing low cost airline is absolutely the right model, because the cost of airline operation is more or less predictable than revenue. After the recent economic down turn demand for air travel is significantly affected negatively and the industry experts expect that it will remains same for a couple of years to come  before it returns back to prior 2008 level.  However unless businesses are set up now it would not be possible to tap the benefit when the economy recovers.  The best starting point will be developing a business plan.
