60 minutes Northwest of Hamilton up the QEW, 403 and just off the 401 at Yorkdale is Downsview, YZD.
Bombrdier manufacture the DH8 and Bd700 here and there are normally at least one or two frames sat outside in primer. The DH8 is fully assembled and painted before making the short jump 15 minutes along the 401 to YYZ for acceptance. The Bd700's are assembled to the stage of flight testing before heading to Montreal for painting and fit out so are normally only seen in there green primer.
Hot days are the best to visit as the hangar doors quite often are open and the con numbers can be read off. This is especially more common in the evenings or weekends.
