Myanma Airways has signed an agreement with the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (Comac) to purchase two Comac ARJ21 regional jets.

The deal was signed in Myanmar on 2 June, said Comac. It did not specify when the aircraft will be delivered, but said first delivery of the ARJ21 to Chengdu Airlines is on track for year-end.

State-owned Myanma Airways operates domestic services, with a fleet of Fokker F27 and F28 aircraft.
