On page 52 of this week's Flight (9-15th Oct) there's an ad for B757/767 pilots wanted by a "major european flag carrier".
Strangely it doesn't at any point mention who they are and is simply referred to as "projectlauren.co.uk"
Very cloak and dagger ...
Anyone care to hazard a guess?
Must be BA with a name like Project Lauren
I know a Lauren, I'll ask her at the pub tonight.
My wings are like a shield of steel.
Batfink: I know a Lauren, I'll ask her at the pub tonight.
OK, I asked her. I don't remember her exact words but it was something along the lines of "I work for a pensions company, not an airline, what the **** are you talking about?".
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Thanks for your investigative work Batfink, we all appreciate your efforts

What do I win
The pprune thread linked to in Kieran's blog makes interesting reading...
It's a new carrier from BA branded 'Open Skies' and they will be running a couple of 757s across the Atlantic, but not from the UK, it'll be somewhere on the continent.
Full story at Flight.
Dave told me they have slots at Paris CDG.
