NEED ADVICE ON BUYING A PRIVATE JET

Thinking about buying a Private Jet. Budget around $10 Million USD either new or used. Can any recomend either website or contact that would give independent advice ? I want to gather as much information on Buying, Running and Maintining a private jet. All the website are dealers etc and give very little advice. Any advice would be greatly apprciated.

This is quite a nice little tool but might be a case of a bit more style over substance.

Also these are Very Light Jets so under your budget somewhat:

    Hi LWF

If you are looking at buying new, $10 million will get you a light business jet  - a Cessna Citation Encore+ or Bombardier Learjet 40XR for example. These types typically seat around 6 pax and offer a range of around 1700nm.On the second hand market $10 million will get you a larger aircraft with a longer range of course.

Don't forget the lead time on new business jets is very long and because of this you will end up paying a hefty price for a good second hand aircraft.  It is definitely a sellers market at the moment because the business aviation is so hot and there appears to be no downturn in sight.

There are a number of good brokers on the market - Vance and Engles and Ocean Sky to name two. Business aviation services companies Jet Aviation and Tag Aviation will also give you good advice on buying an aircraft as well as the other costs associated with aircraft ownership such as maintenance, running and management costs.

    I hope this helps
