Nice Movements 18/8/08 & 1/9/07

The following logs are for aircraft seen during
arrival on 18.8.07 and awaiting departure on 1.9.07.
Not much time spend around the airfield due to it
being a family holiday, but here a a few pointers.
On arrival to Terminal 2 with easyjet, you are very
quickly inside the terminal building,where there is no
view on to the aprons. The only airside viewing I
noticed is after check in and although most movements
can be seen, it is through tinted glass with no real
prospects for photography. The helicopter companies
(Heli air Monaco/Azur Helicopters)operate from the dar
site of the field next to the sea. Due to heat haze
these are almost impossible to read whilst on the
ground. Once landside, there is a hypermarket to the
western end of the airport called CAP3000. You should
be able to read off arrivals from their car park
area,but due to the airport being built out into the
sea, there are very few vantage points that give views
of the aprons.(Saturdays are a lot quiter for the Air
France regionals too)
