Just curious if someone with the JP 89 or 90 guide could look and see if it listed the Pan Am Fokker 100 order. From what I know it was a leasing deal probably through GPA. I know several production lists denote which aircraft were supposed to go to Pan Am.
Also JP should have a online tool like aerotransport.org or jet inventory....

Pan Am did negotiate an order for 30 Fokker 100s back in 1989, but i do not think this was firmed up

You know I have seen that before and actually the Wall Street Journal has a more detailed article if you have access. However, I think that at some point in late 89 early 90 they must have firmed something up at least for 13 frames. Most production lists list
11264-11267
11284-11285
11287,11292, 11299, 11304, 11305, 11331, 11338 as being Pan Am aircraft.
These appear to be the same frames that were destined for Braniff 2, through GPA, before they went CH11. The reg's are often listed as N401PA on....
