Passengers hit in the face with hot hydraulics fluid

    Never heard of this before

FOUR passengers on a Brussels Airlines flight were injured after being hit on their faces and arms with hot hydraulics fluid.

There were 74 passengers onboard flight SN-2588 from Berlin Tegal, Germany, to Brussels, Belgium, when the incident occurred, the Aviation Herald reports.

The plane had landed safely and was taxiing to the terminal when the hydraulics fluid began leaking from the cabin interior, near the wing area.

The passengers received minor injuries, including burns, and were taken to hospital.

The leakage has not been located as parts of the cabin interior needs to be removed to determine the cause.

The airline is investigating the incident

Yes, extremely unusual indeed. What type of aircraft? A high-wing perhaps? ATR, DHC-8, Airspeed Ambassador, Avro York????

I think, this happened accidentally. There may not be negligence of the staff working there. My prayers to the people, who are hurt.
