Frankfurt Airport will hold its Big Spring Festival later this month as well as reopening the visitor’s terrace in Terminal 2.

The festival, which will feature music, artists, raffles, and lots of aircraft up close, takes place on the weekend of March 23 and 24.

With the reopening of the terrace, visitors will once again be able to go outside to enjoy the panoramic view of the apron and airfield to see aircraft landing and taking off.

On both days, experts will explain what is happening on the take-off and landing runways, narrating the action live and sharing insider information.

In the Food Plaza behind the terrace, there will be live music and entertainment from ice jugglers, magicians, and sketch artists.

Shops, bars, and restaurants will present their new spring collections, cocktails, and dishes, and a visitor passport will guide guests to various activities and raffles.

Fun and games have also been organised for younger visitors. Following the festival, the terrace will remain open daily from 10am to 6pm.
