Ryanair, the budget airline, has been accused of taking its no-frills flying plans a “step too far” after it unveiled proposals for only one lavatory on its aircraft.

Ryanair want to remove two or three of the lavatories and replace them with up to six extra seats.

This would force the 200 passengers and crew to share one toilet.

Ryanairs one toilet per aircraft acceptable or not?

I am glad i stopped using them a number of years ago. I'd rather pay the extra money and fly either a main airline such as BA, KLM, Lutfhansa etc or a decent low cost carrier like Easyjet and Jet2!

It's a big thumbs down to Ryanair from me!

These are the common bluff of Ryanair, just to come up on the media.

Despite there is no requirement for a minimum number of lavatories on the FAR25, Ryanair knows for sure that, based on the emergency exit layout of the aircraft, the 189 pax seating actually used by Ryanair is already at the maximum.

Actually for a 4 type-1 plus 4 type-3 exit the limit is 180 pax, but it has already been rised for the 737-800 only to 189 pax on a special case base by modifying the overwing exits opening system....

This is a one case only story in narrowbody history and neither FAA or EASA will permit any further increase over the 189 limit....
