Bombardier has received a firm order for up to 10 CSeries CS100 aircraft from PrivatAir, which will be delivered in an all-business class configuration.

The order from the Geneva-based private airline and charter operator, which includes five firm 110-seat CS100s and five additional options, is valued at $309 million and up to $636 million if options are exercised.

"The CS100 jetliner is very well suited for our route expansion plans and we look forward to introducing this very modern aircraft into our fleet," said PrivatAir CEO and president Greg Thomas.

Bombardier CSeries vice president and general manager, Rob Dewar, said in a 5 January interview that Bombardier was in advanced discussions with a customer for CS100s with an all-business class configuration.

The aircraft will be certified for 180min extended operations (ETOPS) certification and will be capable of linking city centre airports such as London City with New York John F Kennedy non-stop in a premium configuration.

The Canadian airframer, which expects to deliver the first CS100 at the end of 2013, now holds order for 138 CSeries aircraft.
