four years of its 1966 go-ahead - the new "queen of the skies" is
competing in a very different sales environment, says Carcaillet.

of the equation."
Remember, in "the swinging 60s" the world economy and the aviation industry were much smaller. The A380, on the other hand, has been available during the biggest sales boom in aviation history, yet sales are dismal.
That Mr. Carcaillet could fail to grasp this is truly astonishing! Either this is just very bad spin, or Airbus is in more trouble that I thought.
