    For the record, it was not the Indian media which reported Rafale's elimination first. Wall Street Journal and AFP were the first to break the news and quoted senior Indian officials that they had spoken to.

    Shouldn't the Indian defense official that you are now quoting explain what caused the confusion earlier. Without it all the reports so far will appear suspect.

    This story is really unclear.

    Who is speaking to who ? No name, no military rank...

    A combat aircraft deal is very long and very complex, mainly political. Let's people who really have to know to decide with impartiality.
