    Great review and eye-opening technical advances.

    My other immediate thought is that with some lightening mods (removal of the rearcockpit ejection seat, pressurization system, a lighter, sleeker single-pilot canopy, anddeletion of any other unnecessary systems) what a great Reno Open-class racer this type would make. Evenwith only 1600hp, I'm sure it coul;d be a winner there...

    It would also be much easier and safer to fly than the existing modified open-class racers. And it's engine wouldn't blow up every fewoutings like some of the others...
