    Flightglobal:
The forward section of an A300 has been delivered to Paris city centre where it will form part of an Airbus exhibit to celebrate the centenary of France’s aeronautical industry. The exhibition is taking place between 4 and 12 October 2008 on the Champs-Elysées and the Place de la Concorde...

This looks like an interesting exhibit, but does anybody know which airlines these pieces are coming from? Apparently there is the A300 forward fuselage, the Airbus exhibit includes an A320 wing, an A340 fin and the nose cone and engine air intake from an A380

The A300 comes from a prototype I guess

The A320 wing is from a scrapped Air France A320-100, built in 1987

The A380 part is from MSN 5020 (used for static testing)

And the A340 tail is arriving this night.

Rumour has it that the A340 fin comes from the infamous Etihad aircraft that met a messy end at Toulouse. Anyone confirm that?

Here is the part number of the tail, but I don't know how to find whether it is Etihad's one or no.

The serial for the Toulouse A340 was 856, I have no idea how you'd go about matching that to an individual part no. on a component though. Also, on a slightly pedantic note, I don't think it can technically be called the Etihad A340 since it hadn't been delivered yet - it was still on the books of Airbus.
