    The investigation board's finding is hard to believe - not only was aircraft debris found in widely-separated places, but some of the wreckage found (primarily the galley structure) is simply too delicate to have survived a direct flying impact with the sea. If anyone is in dout about this, he should review photographs of the debris found after the crash of Swissair 111 (from New York to Zurich). Even after having dredged the ocean floor at the crash site, the CTSB was only able to build a minimal aircraft reconstruction from the pieces found.

    I was frankly stunned when I read this headline. for much the same reasons as outlined above. Having installed those types of galley structures, I can attest to their flimsy nature ! Call me a cynic but this has nothing to do with the calls to ground all long range AB aircraft ?
