I was reading through my monthly aviation magazine when I came across an article that caught my attention. The article featured ZS-DNT, a 1954 Cessna 172. This was the very first Cessna 172 to ever fly the skies of South Africa. All that was left of it was the forward fuselage with the registration plate still in the door frame.

The remains of the aircraft was basically left out to deteriorate. I read up on the history of this aircraft and decided to acquire the fuselage and start restoring it. this was 6 months ago. At this moment it is sitting in my garage, and I have come as far as cleaning it. I do realize that this is gonna be a HUGE project. So if there is anyone out there with any parts to sell or donate, please let me know, so we can preserve this historic relic.
