I got my Australian CPL in 1998 and flew a mail run for about a year managing to get a total of 400 hours flying time. Due to unforseen circumstances, I had to return to the UK where I was not able to fly. Neither did I have the finances to convert to a UK or JAR licence.
I am now in a position to undertake some flying training but I am not too sure what will be required. Am I to assume that I have to start from the very beginning or would my previous experience contribute to what I need to do to get a UK-JAR licence.
Any ideas and pointers would be much appreciated.
