 also, still being sold as a land based turbine. and the starting point for the trent family, which shows no signs of being replaced until at least 50 years after the evolution of the 211. my vote goes with you on this one. a technical and market tour de force.

Yes, your right. Another damn fine reason why this engine platform has been a mainstay of the turbine engine market for so many years and many years to come !

 The RB211 is a true pioneering engine, thank goodness the government rescued it. My vote goes to that too
