    Sad end for Nalanji Dreaming

QANTAS have recently retired VH-EBU, the aircraft formerly painted in the 'Nalanji Dreaming' scheme.  The aircraft has been parked at Avalon (AVV) for some time, but has now been moved to a secure part of the airfield for parting-out.

And for those of you that aren't familiar with the Nalanji Dreaming colour scheme, here's what it used to look like:

As far as I'm aware, this leaves VH-OEJ (one of the -400ER aircraft) as the only aircraft in the QANTAS fleet to carry one of the 'Dream schemes', this being painted up as 'Wunala Dreaming'.

Anybody got any more shots of the 'Dream schemes'?

I'd be interested to learn more about "parting out", as I didn't realise airlines bought "used parts" for their aircraft, and had assumed any parts replaced were always new from the factory.
