Thought I would share with you an amazing hours observation tonight, Sunday 21st September.
Between 20:15 and 21:15, I saw fourteen satellites traverse an amazingly clear sky.
What I found most interesting was the number that were on a similar, WSW - ENE orbit. The highest point in the sky was east of my viewpoint, no doubt allowing maximum 'coverage' for Europe.
For those that might be interested, they included three Cosmos rockets (debris), two Lacrosse and one Envisat satellite (info via heavens-above.com).
Is there anybody out there?
