Well, you lot know that a normal morning shows hundreds of aircraft. At this time on a normal day I see 160 Aircraft. I see the holds over LAM, BIG and OKM full.

I see aircraft leaving outbound over the channel.

Today however, the SE of England has seen snow and as we cannot cope, this is the result

Nothing going into EGLL, Nothing going into EGKK

Wow - from what I caught of the news this morning they suggested that the impact on the airports had been minimal. Did I mishear or are they just completely wrong?

I have heard that BHX is now shut. Luckily Manchester is still open and obviuosly is more than capable of taking alot of the diverts. The only issue it has is that i think it can only handle one A380 at a time, but i doubt that will be a big problem.

Cyprus Air aircraft slipped of Taxiway this morning.  Its on BBC news.

Traffic is picking up but the BIG and OKM holds have had the same aircraft in them for over an hour.

G-VFIT has done over 30 orbits and has been in the BIG hold for about 1:20 mins.

Does anyone know if any of the Heathrow bound A380's were diverted to Manchester? John.
