Jangle your pockets and get your pennies out, it seems that Singapore Airlines are going to auction a seat on its first A380 flight on eBay. So the question is, what would you do to get on that first flight: sell a kidney, get rid of your car,or just sell your soul for the proverbial buck ...Remember it is all going to charity!!!!
I don't think i have anything of note to sell so i think i am pretty much screwed... maybe i can get more for selling my bike, it is rusty enough to look antique
I assume the price will include one night's stay in a swanky hotel plus breakfast when the aircraft goes tech.
Exciting news today that the first A380 deliveries for SIA have been finally confirmed. It seems that the 15 October will be D day for the unveiling, with 25 October being the first commercial flight. I think it is time to create your EBAY accounts and raid the piggy bank to get your seat on that flight...
Would you think that major airline will only buy this nice plane for fun? Either you are involve in the A380 program or you may have some news about the reliability of this aircraft regarding line operations??? Will appreciate to know more infos,if any...

Not involved in the programme i am afraid, just interested by the idea of selling tickets on eBay
SIA could make a donation to poor old Airbus, to help reverse the losses they've made on the programme
Great innovation has always a cost ieg:Caravelle, Concorde, and now A380.Congretulation to those involved, building steps for the future...Hapily they don't remain on same program...with xxx-100,-200,-300,400,500,600....
Whomever buys a ticket has to remember they'll need to get to Singapore to catch the flight - or Australia, for the return leg.
Wonder how many will buy one just for posterity's sake (and re-sell it in the future)?
