What is wrong with American labor? This is why America is in the shape it is. Jobs are allowed to leave this country with no penalty to the company that moved. These companies should be taxed so much money that moving into another county for its cheap labor force would not make any sense. Why make other countries strong. Piper is an American company and has no business looking anywhere except in the U.S. for a manufacturing plant

Hey people,

 

The U.S is not the only market.  Where do you think the biggest growth GA is for the next 25 years? Yep its China. Not the US. Not until 100LL goes away.  The investors of Piper are not doing this for the love of it... they need a ROI.  Got to have cheap labor to make money.  Its economic physics...

 

However... do they have the right product? remains to be seen....the number they, along wiht Cirrus cannot publish is their Engine Out Climb Rate...

Corporate types have a hard time with one powerplant. Maybey flight schools and owner operator but not business who carry non pilots on board.
