Morning All, Had a short to trip to Delhi last weekend to fly Finnair's MD11 before it retires from service at the end of the month. Only had 2 nights over there as i had been to Zurich for a fews days earlier for the WEF. I flew LHR-HEL-DEL on the 29th Jan and DEL-HEL-MAN-SOU 1st Feb. Had 2 nights at the excellent Radisson New Delhi and spotted from room 464 with the help of sbs. The only time we went out was on Sunday 31st to visit the Indian Air Force museum at Palam AFB ont the opposite side of the airport. No problems encountered spotting at all. Only that it was quite foggy when we landed and it didn't clear till nearly Noon. The second day the fog cleared about 9 am. Still a few bits to tie up from SBS but in the main this is the log;

It was foggy enough that we couldn't read off aircraft parked on remote stands at the International terminal. Cleared Immigration quite quickly and went straight to the hotel. Had to wait an hour for an airport room view but as we couldn't of seen anything anyway it wasn't a problem and the hotel offered us a complimentry breakfast whilst we waited.
