With July 1 now come and gone the places for smokers to enjoy a quick drag has lessened somewhat, so it intrigues me to read about Smokers International Airways, or SMINTAir (isn't that a make of mint, SMINT??) getting ready for launch.
The carrier apparently plans to being services to Japan in the fourth quarter, where it will offer passengers the chance to smoke and move around the aircraft to enjoy a quick cocktail or buy some duty free.
This seems a bizzare idea and completely against the current climate of anti-smoking. Does anybody know anything more about this, as i would think that smoking would be a health and safety risk on an aircraft...
I know what you mean, but with all the information regarding the dangers of passive smoking, i wouldn't want to be in a smoky room for 12 hours at 30,000 feet!!!It would make me reach for the parachute
