    SNCASE Languedoc

At present I'm doing some research on the SNCASE Languedoc. The Languedoc was a pre war 4 engined airliner designed by Bloch but production started after the war. 5 of them were sold to LOT in Poland as SP-LDA-LDE but I can't find anything about the construction numbers.

The Aeronavale also took quit a number of Languedocs but also in this case I'm looking for the construction numbers and service history.

    Hans,

Aerodata are quoting c/n for the LOT airframes as 21 (SP-LDA), 22 (LDB), 18 (LDC), 15 (LDD) and 44 (LDE).

Although not specifying which air arm, the following are implied as French military, with the aircraft serial matching the c/n (SNCASE SE.161 Languedoc unless indicated) :

12 (Withdrawn from use Toulouse-Blagnac 31-05-48 and presumed later broken up), 16 (Ex F-BATP. Withdrawn from use 02-01-61 and Struck Off Charge), 17 (Ex F_BATQ. Withdrawn from use 17-03-60), 48 (Ex F-BCUR. Withdrawn from use 17-03-60).

Other airframes are 50 through 59 (SNCASE SE.161 /1 Languedoc) & 61 to 100*. Of these, most show no known fate but here is additional info on a few aircraft: 51 (f/f 12-07-50), 61 (Ex F-BCUN. Re: SNCASE Languedoc

Many thanks for your reply. I don't have access to Aerodata myself and with the information I allready have I will be able to find out which aircraft were used by the Aeronavale.
