This is a rocket engineer's nightmare, with pipes, ducts and bypasses

piling up, in, out and around - AARRRGGHHH!

Surely (?) an old generation rocket engine in its test rig ..... but which ?

Rocketdyne's Redstone engine ..... or a very early prototype of Reaction Motor's XLR-99 X-15's engine ..... ???

Or ...... ?????

This image shows the prototype model of the second-stage liquid oxygen, liquid hydrogen, LE-5 engine for Japan's National Space Development Agency's H-I launcher. Pictured here in April 1982, the engine was to be test flown in early 1986.
