The SPK unit, after tethered tests by cosmonauts Alexander Alexandrovich Serebrov and Alexander Stepanovich Viktorenko, respectively on February 1 and 5, 1990, was "parked" outside the airlock of Kvant-2 (far left) in order to save room.
