I am starting the final year of my degree in Air Transport Operations. I must now complete a dissertation as part of my degree. For my subject, I have chosen the “Impact of the credit crunch on business aviation in Europe”. At the moment, I am starting to pull together my research. In short these are to do the following: 1. - To understand fully the impact of Credit Crunch on business aviation; 2. - To assess the specific actions taken by companies in the industry to adapt to and deal with the economic downturn; 3. - To take, by way of example, different business aviation operators and by more detailed analysis, evaluate how each of these operators have dealt with the challenges of the Credit Crunch; 4. - To understand what can be done to minimise the impact of a recession.
