Yes, a charming advertisement, but the advertising agency have simply proven that there is no such thing as a new markekting idea, just the rehash of old ones.

I refer to the recebnt toilet paper advertisement where the young boy is the MD and of course the original of the genre, Vauxhall Motors, with their babies for the Astra.

A WONDERFUL SAFETY VIDEO ! I HAVE SENT IT TO ALL OF MY GRANDCHILDREN AND THEY WILL LOVE IT. THEY FLY QUITE OFTEN, AND WILL BE THRILLED WITH THIS SAFETY VIDEO. THEY HAD A GREAT UNCLE WHO INVESTIGATED AIRPLANE ACCIDENTS, SO THEY ARE AWARE OF THE IMPORTANCE OF "SAFETY" IN ALL THINGS.

Maybe, you are a frecuent flyer, but what about the people that is flying fot the first time?

Do not replay for other people, ok?

And last, if you do not have something positive to say , is better say nothing.

Having been on Thomson flights twice this year - I can confirm that the cabin crew do mention the airline smoking policy, and point out the the floor lights.  The video is avidly watched by passengers which is a first in my experience, so it must be working. People were even talking about it afterwards, something I have never seen or heard before.  That's a result.

Goose, I wish to reply on my own. However, I can't seem to find an appropriate avenue. Having said that, I fly often, too. The Keiki ("Children" in Hawaii) are precious, and apropos. The Flight Attendant (Mom?) appearing at the end-piece tells the Story. She would see her daughter and friends no less safe after that Presentation than if she delivered it. A Fine Quality of People has been Delivered. Stephen.

I think this is the best Safety video I have seen in a long long time.  So many people (almost none) ever watch the videos or the flight attendants during these safety briefs.  Good for you Thomson Airways, and thanks for posting Goose

Thank you for noticing this point, DenisP! As a retired AC FA that caught my attention, as well. For the reason you state but also because if the aircraft had to brake suddenly & with force, the seatbelt would not be around the child but the toy & therefore she/he could easily slip out & be hurt. As we all know, seatbelts must be fastened securely around the PAX hips, not waist, for this very reason. Well spotted!!!

Neat. paid good attention But need to clarify/reposition some items. Like in-sequence descrptions in most cases. (example--placing luggage in overhead racks) and cutting off cellphones.
