Not sure if im posting this in the right place but here it goes.

About two moths ago i was walking home when i heard a plane flying over. I had a look around and it was flying directly over my head. Strange thing was it looked like a boeing but it was all dark gray and it was flying very very low. I live 5 miles away from the airport and this is a very strange thing to see.

The only aircraft we ever see flying low over my area is the local helecopter when there is trouble.

I've tried to find out why it was flying so low and what the plane could be without much luck.

 Any help would be great.

Thnks x

 Does this ring any bells?

Boeing e3 Senty

It's a Boeing E3 Sentry (accompanied by a pair of Tornados)

Perhaps a visiting KC-135 tanker from France or the States?

My wings are like a shield of steel.
