AirAsia have joined the social media revolutionand set up a YouTube competition to inspire new pilots:
It's very funny (more due to the production values and "Oscar worthy" acting than anything else) but do these kind of things turn the extremely responsibe job of being a pilot into a kind of reality show competition and demeans it somehow, especially when all they are saying is be a pilot and you can get all the girls and money you want.
To be fair i am playing a little devil's advocate here as i respect any airline that attempts to get involved with social media and anything that promotes flying to the "youth" is a good thing isn't it?
